Two adult males in Stanly County are experiencing dozens of prices in connection with an investigation into catalytic converter thefts and a area auto gross sales small business, the sheriff’s workplace said.

On Tuesday, detectives with the Stanly County Sheriff’s Business and Narcotics division concluded up an investigation into many catalytic converter thefts in the county.
Sarch warrants were executed at Huneycutt Auto Profits and Wrecker Support, at 907 West Primary Avenue and at 121 Harwood Road, both of those in Albemarle.
Investigators arrested and charged Richard Stephen Huneycutt and Haywood Richardson subsequent the search.
Richard Huneycutt was billed with 29 counts of felony conspiracy, possession with intent to market and produce Schedule II managed substance, trafficking opium/heroin and possession with intent to offer and deliver Agenda IV controlled material.

Haywood Richardson was charged with 29 counts of larceny of motor vehicle areas, 29 counts of personal injury to house to obtain non-ferrous metals and 29 counts of felony conspiracy.
