Refillable beauty products are nothing new. For some time, a variety of brands have offered refillable eye shadow cases, letting you swap out your favorite palettes easily. But now, brands are furthering that reach into refillable deodorants, skin care products, lipsticks and more. L’Occitane, for example, launched refill stations in select stores in 2021, in an effort to reduce plastic waste — but has been offering product eco-refills since 2008.

As awareness for more sustainability of our products increases, many retailers and brands have been putting their proverbial best foot forward to clean up the beauty industry with less waste by offering recycled packaging, cleaner ingredients and refillable products.
